À L'Ouest brings a 200-seat French brasserie to North Park's 30th Street
Trust Restaurant Group opened À L'Ouest, a roughly 4,400-square-foot brasserie from chef Brad Wise at 30th and University — one of the biggest bets yet on the neighborhood's dining row.

North Park's restaurant row gained its most ambitious tenant yet when Trust Restaurant Group opened À L'Ouest, a French brasserie of about 4,400 square feet and roughly 200 seats at 3002 University Avenue, on the corner of 30th.
The brasserie is chef Brad Wise's 13th concept for the group and a project reported at around $5 million. Its scale marks a shift for a corridor long defined by small, chef-driven rooms — a sign of how much confidence operators now place in North Park as a dining destination.
It arrived amid a wave of openings along 30th Street, including the LA wine-bar import Bacari and the modern-Italian SONO.
