Bonita homeowner cited after back-to-back teen parties, one drawing ~400

The San Diego County Sheriff's Office cited a Bonita homeowner and a co-host after two large teen parties at the same house on back-to-back nights, the agency said.

Deputies were first called Friday to a party spilling into a cul-de-sac; about 75 teens left, and a 17-year-old was arrested for DUI while driving away. The next night the gathering ballooned to an estimated 400 juveniles, drawing a sheriff's ASTREA helicopter and a K-9 unit; deputies did a welfare check inside with the homeowner's consent over reports of intoxication and a possible weapon.

Both the homeowner and the co-host were cited for social-host and contributing-to-the-delinquency-of-a-minor violations.
